The Symposium is organised in seven parallel sessions for oral presentations. Each session contains four or five papers. The sub-topics follow a few overall subjects: combustion, anaerobic digestion, biomass to energy, alternative thermal treatments, strategies and policies, other WTE options. During the Symposium one of the sessions will be dedicated to presentations in Italian. Two round tables will be organised: one at the end of the Italian sessions, another (plenary) as a closure of the Symposium. A few poster sessions will always be accessible.
