Graduated in Environmental Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (careers in energy and economy), she got a PhD in Energy Engineering and a PhD in Environmental Engineering in Romania and in Italy respectively. She received two international awards for the results achieved in her researches (mostly focused on biomass and waste valorisation and on human exposure minimization to air pollutants). In 2013 she obtained the scientific national qualification in Italy as associate professor in environmental and sanitary engineering (lasting 6 years). Presently she is contract professor at the University of Insubria (Varese, Italy).

  • Michele MURA

He graduated in Environmental Engineering at the University of Padova (IT). He spent a one-year period at the Institute of Environmental Technology and Energy Economics at the Hamburg University of Technology (IUE-TUHH), doing research on landfill aeration and management of incineration residues in landfills. Currently he works as environmental engineer.
