The scientific programme of Venice 2026 includes more than 150 presentations, structured in 3 parallel tracks and organised in Oral Sessions, Workshops and digital Posters.
Additionally, the Symposium will feature two plenary Focus Sessions addressing topics of significant public interest, with a moderator and a panel of experts introducing the topic and facilitating an engaging discussion with the audience.
Some sessions are specifically designed to explore the links between Energy Recovery and Circular Economy, highlighting how energy recovery from biomass and waste can contribute to circular resource management and how CE principles can shape energy recovery strategies. These sessions will build a thematic bridge towards SUM2027, our next conference dedicated to Circular Economy.
