All papers accepted to the VENICE 2020 will be published on a dedicated volume of Symposium proceedings. One copy of proceedings is always included in the registration fee to the conference and made available to Symposium participants at the start of the event.
Additionally, VENICE 2020 partners with international renowned journals. Through those partnerships, authors of selected leading papers from the event will be invited to submit extended versions of their manuscript for possible publication in the following journals:
Renewable Energy
Impact Factor: 6.274, CiteScore: 11.2
The journal, Renewable Energy, seeks to promote and disseminate knowledge on the various topics and technologies of renewable energy systems and components. The journal aims to serve researchers, engineers, economists, manufacturers, NGOs, associations and societies to help them keep abreast of new developments in their specialist fields and to apply alternative energy solutions to current practices.
Renewable Energy is an international, multi-disciplinary journal in renewable energy engineering and research. The journal aims to be a leading peer-reviewed platform and an authoritative source of original research and reviews related to renewable energy.
The journal also welcomes papers on other related topics provided that such topics are within the context of the broader multi-disciplinary scope of Renewable Energy. It should be noted, however, that papers are within scope only if they are concerned with power generation and that the power is generated in a renewable or sustainable way. For instance, a paper concerning development and characterisation of a material for use in a renewable energy system, without any measure of the energy that this new material will convert, would be out of scope.
The journal is currently indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded / Scopus / Web of Science and many others .
Detritus - Multidisciplinary Journal for Waste Resources and Residues
We are proud to announce that Detritus will publish a special issue on "Resources from Waste: Energy and Materials" with selected papers from the Venice 2020 and SUM 2020 Symposia.
Detritus is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal which publishes papers on waste resources, residue management and engineering. The journal is aimed at extending the “waste” concept by opening up the field to other waste-related disciplines (earth science, applied microbiology, environmental science, architecture, art, law, forensic engineering, etc.) welcoming strategic, review and opinion papers. Detritus is a double open journal: free access for readers and free submission for authors in order to promote the transfer of scientific knowledge with no economical constraints. Accepted papers will be immediately processed and made available on line with a DOI number.
The journal is currently indexed in SCOPUS, Google Scholar, DOAJ, ANVUR and in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by Clarivate Analytics/Web of Science.
